Overtime Pay Calculator
Worked more than 40 hours this week? Federal law (FLSA) says you get 1.5× your normal pay for those extra hours. This calculator works out your week: regular pay, overtime pay, and double time for hours over 60 in this simple model. Some states have their own rules on top of this, so check your state rules too.
Example filled in: $25 an hour, 50 hours this week — $1,375.00 in total.
Worked example
$25 an hour, 50 hours: 40 regular hours = $1,000.00, 10 overtime hours at $37.50 = $375.00. Total: $1,375.00.
